During a 5-day immersive experience, students ages 5 to 18 will engage in acting, singing, choreography, and teamwork under the guidance of our talented instructors. The week culminates on day five with a dress rehearsal and a live performance.

From Monday to Thursday, students will immerse themselves in rehearsals from 9 AM to 3 PM, while younger students will enjoy morning sessions from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. The week culminates in an exhilarating live production on Friday, where students showcase their newfound skills on stage.

Art Class

Unlock Creativity with TADA’s Art Class for Kids in Suffolk, VA

Our musical theatre classes are 4-6 weeks and available throughout the year. Intensive summer camps run for one week. Specific details can be found on the Programs page and current offerings on the calendar.

When do you offer auditions for a musical?

We hold open auditions approximately every three months for upcoming productions. Registration is required for auditions and includes a tuition down payment.

Our production rehearsal period typically spans about two months, giving students time to prepare for the stage. Watch the calendar for audition postings and subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated on audition schedules and production timelines.

Do you offer performance opportunities?

Yes, all of our regular productions are performance opportunities throughout the year. We have been doing student productions for over 10 seasons. Registration is required to audition to secure a spot on one of the casts.

What is the tuition cost for a musical theatre production?

Musical theatre tuition ranges from $425+ per production per student. Summer camps range from $375+ per student. The tuition covers the costumes, rights to the musical, and overall production costs.

Is there a dress code for classes and performances?

For regular classes: We maintain a basic dress code for students attending classes to ensure comfort and ease of movement. Typically, this includes attire like comfortable dancewear or athletic wear, along with appropriate footwear.

For performances: Students participating in our stage productions will need to purchase specific stage attire, which may include character shoes or other performance-specific clothing items. Detailed information about costume requirements and where to purchase them will be provided closer to the performance dates. Rest assured, we strive to make this process as convenient as possible for our students and their families.
